Geschichte des SharePoint Saturday Köln
Die Office 365 Community in Deutschland veranstaltet seit jeher einmal im Jahr Meetups und eine Office 365 Konferenz. Es war also sehr naheliegend, dass wir auch einen SharePoint Saturday organisieren wollen. So trafen sich einige Mitglieder und begannen, die Konferenz zu organisieren. Am Ende des Jahres 2019 wurde der SharePoint Saturday Cologne unter das Dach des Gesellschaft für Digitalisierung und digitalen Fortschritt e.V. (gemeinnützig) gestellt. Diese Entscheidung freut uns sehr, das wir so entsprechend mehr Möglichkeiten haben unabhänigig von Firmen für die Community tätig zu werden. Dies entspricht unserem Grundsatz neutral, transparent und offen für alle Gruppen ohne Abhänigkeiten agieren zu können. Der Verein ist unsere Stütze mit seinen Mitgliedern.
Wir freuen uns sehr über die überwältigende Anzahl von Sponsorenanfragen und so viele Teilnehmeranfragen.

History of SharePoint Saturday Köln
The Office 365 community in Germany has always organized Meetups and an Office 365 conference once a year. So it was very obvious that we also want to organize a SharePoint Saturday. So some members got together and started to organize the conference. At the end of 2019, SharePoint Saturday Cologne was placed under the umbrella of the Gesellschaft für Digitalisierung und digitale Fortschritt e.V. (non-profit). We are very happy about this decision, because it gives us more possibilities to work for the community independently from companies. This is in line with our principle of being able to act neutrally, transparently and openly for all groups without any dependencies. The association is our support with its members.
We are very happy about the overwhelming number of sponsor requests and so many participant requests.
